“Life after Life” is so beyond she deserved someone to gush and grovel. She shouldn’t have been so genius. Not your fault.

I recently excavated Morgenstern's The Starless Sea from my to-read pile and devoured it with the same kind of desperate ardor I always have with your books. (After enjoying Night Circus I'm disappointed in myself that it took so long to get to it, but I am now on my second reading of Starless Sea.) I hope you have had the chance to read it, as well, because I think she resonates on a similar frequency to you. I will have to put Kate Atkinson's books in my queue based on your recommendation!

I have read it! Erin's one of those writers -- like Cat Valente -- whose imagination just seems fathomless. No bottom. And her work seems effortless, even though I know she must work incredibly hard to achieve that effect. (Like me she's a slow writer. Though not AS slow as me.)

My favorite work of Atkinson's is LIFE AFTER LIFE. But they're all good -- love the Jackson Brodie books.

Have you met, Erin? She’s clearly also a fan of yours! I’ll have to plow through Life After Life before Bright Sword comes out.. thanks!
